I don't know if you are planning on using the scissor jack to lift the vehicle from the cross-member, but I thought I'd just throw it out there that the scissor jack is only to be used on the pinch weld. The top of the scissor jack would be too unstable on a cross-member. You should be using a floor jack if you want to jack up at the cross-member.
