My 2017 Premiere (180,000 miles) has a terrible shudder on acceleration but it doesn't do it all of the time. I was driving up to NY from FL and my check engine light came on and it threw 4 codes (P0174, P0171, P0442, P0496) for the purge solenoid valve, so I changed that when I got to NY. It is now giving me p0138 code.If its the 1st acceleration--- there is a self test that occurs at about 20 MPH. The self test is for the Stabilitrack.ABS system. I have a 2012 Acadia Denali that was experiencing the same issue rpm fluctuation under load. Thinking it was a gas/air mixture issue I tried swapping coils, spark plugs, cleaning gas tank, and cleaning the throttle body. It helped, but did not resolve the issue.
